Greg Walden Challenged by some tough questions!

Our great nation is under attack.  At no time since the Civil War have our country's freedoms been so threatened.  We're like the frog in the pan of slowly heated water who is being lulled into a deadly sleep from which it cannot recover.

How did this happen, and who is responsible?  There's plenty of blame to go around with half of it going to the American voters who, in their apathetic concern over their civic responsibilities have either withdrawn from their oversight duties or voted with the anti-votes (against the greater evil).

Let's face it we all have quite a job in raising our families and trying to keep our heads above water. We foolishly believed that every-thing is basically okay.  Deep down inside we know people are dropping the ball but just griping about it is where most of us neglect our civic responsibilities.

Newspapers/magazines/TV media all tell us what they want us to know with few exceptions, like Lou Dobbs of CNN.  Here is a clip of Lou Dobbs reporting on the events of the SSP or Security & Prosperity Partnership in Feb of this year.  Robert Pastor from the CFR recently announced that they are giving up plans for the North American Union discussed in the video, but you can't rely on this massive program to just go away. Listen for yourself and see what they are capable of doing without even bothering to go through congress or the vote. This plan is nothing short of a silent Coup d'ètat. For even trying this the President needs to be impeached. He clearly is not working for you or America.

The other half of blame goes to our elected officials who are supposed to be our proverbial watchmen on the wall.  Even Greg Walden  has voted for the legislation that is killing the sovereignty of our nation, he's not the only one. Most of the Congress need to be fired, some have neglected American interests in treasonous violation of their oath.  If you think I am an alarmist you are right.  Watch this interview with a retired Senator who served 38 years in the Senate, and see if you think there is nothing to be alarmed about. This just aired The middle of July. My name is Rick Hake, and I hope you'll support my run in November's General Election as your Congressional Representative in Oregon's 2nd Congressional District. Please share my website with others who want to know about other candidates so the incumbents are not re-elected...again! Scroll on down to learn a little more about me.

I was born in Medford, Oregon and for the most part I have been a resident of the Rogue Valley. My dad was a lumber jack and a construction worker. My mom was a waitress and worked to help support the family between my fathers jobs.  My early years from about age 10 to 16 were spent with my grandfather in the pear orchards. He taught me how to irrigate, prune the trees and drive a tractor and then a little later his old model T.  He helped me get a job in the orchards smudging during the first frosts and later picking pears, and the then the pear packing plants.

At age 17 I joined the U.S. Naval Reserve, and a year and half later transferred over the the U.S. Air Force where I served the first 8 years in Security and Law enforcement. I was a K-9 Supervisor Honorably Discharged as a Staff Sergeant in 1971. I served at Portland International AFB, RAF Bentwaters/Woodbridge in the United Kingdom, Wheelus AFB in Lybia during the Israeli 6 Day War, and Otis AFB Massachusetts until my discharge.

I then returned to Medford, Oregon where I worked in as a Security Manager for K-Mart, Store Detective for all the Bazar' stores in the area, Security Manager for Action Security, Private Investigator for Krout & Schnieder out of Los Angeles, and a small town Police Officer. During a period of unemployment which is all to common in Oregon I took a job in Texas in the Oil Field which was offered by a good friend. This friend told me about what was happening to our country many years ago, but I thought he was just a radical conspiracy theorist. I wish I had of listened to him back then he was dead on target.  After the Oil Field I worked as a mid-level civilian for 3 local Naval Air Stations in the Corpus Christi area.  I was the Security Manager for the Navy Exchange System at  NAS Corpus Christi, NAS Chase Field, NAS Kingsville. After a couple of years we returned to Oregon to care take my wife's mother who was experiencing declining health.

I attended Portland Community College, and Southern Oregon University where I studied accounting and journalism.

After returning to Oregon I worked for a large printing company as a machine operating before retiring in 2000.

Early in my Air Force years I married my high-school sweetheart Kathy, and she gave me 4 wonderful children, three daughters and one son. We will be celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary this coming August 3rd.  All my children are grown with children of their own. I have 9 beautiful grandchildren. All my children are good citizens, and Christians, and raising their children be the same.

I have been very active in party politics, and currently I am the Jackson County Chairman of the Constitution Party. You will notice on the 'Contact Us' page and under my name on this message I have listed both my phone and my email and I would encourage you to contact me regarding any concerns or questions you may have about me at any time.

Sincerely,

Rick Hake
